I just received a call from one of my aunt's daughters up in Maine telling us that she took Grampy into the hospital last night. He was throwing up and have a lot of pain in his belly. She said that the doctor's think that it may either be an ulcer or more scar tissue/blockage like he had a few years ago. This is all that I know right now. When I hear anymore I will update everyone. Grampy could really use any and all prayers.

I talked to Grampy this afternoon. He said the tube in his nose will be taken out tomorrow, but as far as he is concerned that won't be soon enough. A doctor came in this morning, and told him that the doctor who did the surgery on his belly in 2008 will be in to see him tomorrow morning. Then that doctor will have a meeting with all the doctors who have seen Grampy since he has been in the hospital to see what they all think, and what course of action, if any, will be taken. Grampy said that he is feeling better, and very hungry, but they won't give him anything to eat right now.

Sounds like the doctors are on top of this. Glad to see that Grampy is getting hungry. I will continue the prayers for him.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner on Grampy. They found out that he had a small blockage in the bowels, again, caused by the scar tissue. Thankfully it was able to be taken care of with iv medication and he didn't need surgery. Grampy came home from the hospital, Friday morning. Once again thank you all for your prayers.
