I have a friend, her name is Pam, whose trailer was damaged when a pretty nasty storm passed over about an hour and a half ago. Thank the good Lord that she wasn't there, she was able to take shelter with another friend. She says that the trailer is not livable. She's going to talk to her case worker tomorrow, she's been trying to get on section 8 but can't seem to find anyone who'll take it. I'd take her in a heartbeat but I just found out today that my daughter and 3 grandsons may be moving in. Please pray for her that she'll be able to find somwhere to go. Thank you so much.

I have seen these pictures on the news ,and see all the homes and other property that have been blown away. So many have been killed and injured. I hear their were 49 severe storms that moved through these states.

Thanks for your prayers. Pam is in a shelter right at the moment. Everyone that was still in the court last night had to be evacuated because of a gas leak and today I heard that it's been condemned. Alot of clean up going on. Three tornadoes skirted the town of Minatare about 10 miles east of us. We're supposed to get more bad weather tomorrow.

The storm from the other night didn't produce much. Thunder, lightning, pea sized hail and wind. We are in a flash flood watch tonight as were supposed to have more storms tonight. With all the rain we've been having our river, the North Platte, is about to overflow it banks. This river hasn't had this much water in it for years. Working on trying to find housing for Pam and the other homeless. I talked to Pam last night, her spirit is very low. As of last night she still hasn't been able to go back and get her kittys and she's very upset about it. She also told me that she needs back surgery but she's postponing it until fall. With everything else she has to deal with, she feels that she can't afford to be laid up right now. I wish there was something I could do, I just don't know what. Thanks for your continued prayers.
