The thoughts and prayers of every FT who reads this will be with all of you as you face the inevitable feelings of emptiness and loss brought by Owen's passing. He is indeed safe and free of pain and stress now, though the loved ones left behind are not. We also will raise our supplications for health and wholeness for the new life coming--and for your sons who need so much love and reassurance now.  May God be with you all.

As everyone knows I lost my dear wife, Rose, not long ago and the grief and empty feelings are truly immense but I cannot begin to imagine or even comprehend the loss of a child such as your dear Owen.  The days ahead will be most difficult for you and your family.  I can only offer to you what all my dear Fortuneteller friends gave to me and that is my love and support.  I am here, as are all your FT friends, to help you through this.  God is now holding Owen and Rose in His loving arms - they are free of pain and suffering. This will take time to heal and know that we are never far away from you.  We will be here for you.

Our prayers will continue for you and for Owen's family.  It is all so hard to understand but Owen is at peace.  When they are ready, share Jimmy's song "On The Other Side" with them.  I find comfort every time I hear it.

I am so sorry to hear this. I will be keeping Owen and his entire family in my prayers, along with the new baby on its way.

I want to say that I appreciate all of the prayers from all of you. This has truly been, and continues to be, the hardest thing that we have been through. Tomorrow will be the first time that we attempt to attend church. I am still  not sure that my boys are ready, but they are willing to try. So many questions from the little guys and still so many tears from all of us. If anyone is interested in the disease that took our precious Owen, it is called Alper's syndrome. Very rare and always fatal. I pray that someone finds a cure for this awful disease.

Again, thanks so much for the prayers. We continue to struggle with this day by day, and sometimes hour by hour.

Church can be hard after a loss.  It brings tears and yet comfort and healing.  I hope it is helpful to all of you even if you do find yourself crying much of the time.  God expects you to cry and mourn and will be there to give you some peace too.

I am so very very sorry for your loss. I want to apologize. Some how I did not see this post before and I feel so bad that I missed it. You have my prayers and again I am so sorry. This is so sad and another one so hard to understand.....
