Mom had her one month follow-up appointment at the wound center today. The doctor was totally amazed at how much the scar on her foot has lightened up. He said everything looks perfect, and discharged her. Now that her foot is done it is onto her thumb. The surgery is scheduled for September 15th, I believe.

Thanks for sharing the good news.  I bet your mom is very happy!   Hopefully the thumb surgery will go smoothly and she will be set for awhile.
