I posted yesterday and somehow didn't see this introduction forum so now I'm posting my introduction. I'm 25 from VA and I generally like artists that no one else in my same age group enjoys. Among such musical interests, The Monkees, CCR/Fogerty, Don Williams, Conway Twitty, Michael Twitty, and of course the Statler Brothers and now Grandstaff. I attempt to sing once in a while and have unprofessionally recorded a few tracks that ended up only getting distributed to family members but I'm told I pull off a pretty decent Patsy Cline impersonation and a wicked Cher. Kind of opposite, huh?

Aside from musical interest, I enjoy working on my cars, modifying them and tinkering with the old 90 Chevy. I like photography, reading, web pages design and graphics design.

So, there you have it.

Welcome RegionalGirl  Cheesy.  You sure do have diverse interests.  You are aware that who ever goes to a Jimmy concert comes back to post a review for the rest of us aren't you?

I could do that. Pictures too...lots of them!  I've got a Davy Jones site and that's what I done the last three concerts I've been to over the past 9 years. LOADS of photos and info!  I actually enjoy stuff like that a lot.

Welcome!  Photos and reviews are always welcome, as are you to this group.  When you find the FTs (some of them will have nametags), you will be among some of the nicest, most down to earth folks you will ever meet.  And as for Jimmy and his wife, Nina, they will bend over backwards to meet and greet, hug, sign autographs for, take pictures with, and please every fan.  Their attitude rubs off on the rest of us, and we are all the better for it.

BTW, folks, did you see her reference to an OLD '90 Chevy?  Humph!  OLD, my foot!  Yes, I guess it is compared to that car.

heh, that old Chevy is my project car. I've always wanted a classic and for now, that's probably as close as I'm going to get on a technicality of it being out of production for more than 10 years or being the appropriate age...anyway, for your enjoyment--before and after pictures of my Chevy!

BEFORE

AFTER

And yes, I done that myself and it also has a Flowmaster that sounds quite nice.

I had a great time at the Radford show tonight and I found everyone there to be wonderful! In fact, i've never met such nice fans of anyone in my life. Everyone was wonderful and I hope to do it again sometime soon!

I'm impressed with the car - nice work.  Looks like you and another jimmy fan (sta51john) have something in common. Smiley
