If you changed servers, did you change your email address? If so you need to change your address on your profile here. Don't forget to change your address under the "Receive Newsletters" too. Nina

I thought I did, but you know I may have missed some of the spots. I will check it all out. Thanks.
I just checked and I had changed my email address and I also updated my address on the newsletter. In fact, I am getting the newsletter. I just am not getting an email notification of an IM. I will check again to see if I have overlooked something there.

If you go in your profile, look to the left and click "personal message options". At the bottom there is a scroll down where you can pick if you would like emails sent when you get an IM. You can choose never, always, or just buddies. Nina

It was marked "always". I still think the problem is with my server but I clicked again on always and reset my preferences just in case. Thank you, Nina.

The same thing has been happening to me. I just went in and checked everything to make sure it did come through E-Mail.

I guess it was my Outlook mailbox. I have emptied a lot of emails out of it. I don't know why I don't delete these messages once I read them. I guess I figure if someone took the time to send them, I should keep them. I am finally weeding out messages that I don't need to keep.

I don't know...I think I may be having some problems with my server. Today, I received a notification by e-mail of an IM I got several days ago. For the longest I did not have a problem. Nothing has changed, everything is set up for me to receive notification, just as it has been.

Well, I know what that is like. Suddenly I cannot email my two friends who use Verizon as their server. I have to go to my webmail account and send them messages that way. It is an incredible nuisance since webmail also does not like the way I have one of them in the address book, I think. Anyway, I have to jump through a number of hoops to get a message to them. Fortunately they can email me the way they always did. I did not change anything, but somehow there is a problem
