I am a new poster here. I was always a Statler Bros. and Jimmy fan. Having had the great blessing of playing with Jimmy New Years Eve I have a new found respect for Jimmy and his NEW music. It was a great night in Halifax County with old friends and new ! I tell everyone that I am a harmonica player not a musician. Playing with Jimmy was special. Maybe we can do it again.

Welcome to a place that enjoys good music and camaraderie!  Anyone who supports Jimmy (and also has a slightly warped sense of humor) is more than welcome here.

Eddie,
Thanks for joining us!! It was nice getting back "home" for a day or so. Since moving to TN I don't get the chance to swing by Halifax Co so much.

Nina,
I wish you could have been there for New Years at the Thompson's. Having Jimmy drop by really was special. We get together every Wed. night in their basement for picking sessions. Since Dan's stroke we continue to try to support him in his recovery. He has made great strides in the last month and can even play a few chords on the mandolin. I will try to send some pictures if you and Jimmy want me to. Please tell Jimmy how much we enjoyed him sitting in with us "hacks". He has newfound fan base in Halifax County. God Bless

Hey Welcome to the Board.  It's nice to have another "Eddie" on the board.
Having a warped sense of humor is definitely part of the requirements here.
Come back often.

Pretty much all of us do, so you'll fit right in!  (Watch out for that guy Riley though!  And Billie, and Carolyn, and....)
