Because I am curious about how this whole website thing works, and because I have no idea how it all happens, I have a tiny little question.  When we are on the general message board page, there is a list of names at the bottom of who is online at any given time.  Why do the position of those names change from time to time?  Periodically I will go back to that page to check on the prayer board or something, and I will see the same names in a different order.  It isn't a very important question but one I wondered about.  If someone has time to tell me what that is all about, thanks.  It probably isn't anything at all.

I'm not the expert, maybe it has something to do with the activity of the person. Check to see where your name is on the list, go make a post and go back to the list real quick to see if that puts your name on the front. That's kind of a joke but seriously, is there anyone out there that can answer this?

OK, I waited.  Sandy's name moved but I didn't see a new post by her.  Will check mine now.  Isn't this fun?

OK, that didn't tell me much.  I do think you may be right though, Nina.

You are so right, Sandy.

I have a few guesses as to how that happens.

1) Order of IMPORTANCE (my personal favorite, but I could be WRONG.) Just kidding.  Huh

2) I have noticed that my ID usually shows as the first name. You're probably seeing your name first. Could be how your PC arranges the names.
(If you're always seeing MY name first, well, back to No.1) Huh

3) Could be that someone is going in and out and changing the order of names. Example: the lineup my be user 1, user 2, user 3. Now if user 2 leaves for a moment, then comes back, that could shuffle the names.
(But if you're ALWAYS seeing tenor123 first, mystery solved!!!)  Huh

Excuse me, I'm feeling a little wacky tonight.

(Love Jimmy)

Everytime I get on my name is first but I don't know why, if Tenor123 is first then she goes on down the line, I was wondering if it were for the number of letters in our log on name.
Maybe it is our own computer doing the line up.   Mandy

There is a little guy in there that keeps track of names as they appear. Huh When someone logs  on they are moved to the head of the line Roll Eyes If you stay more than the allotted time period you are booted to the end of the line. Shocked Hey, makes sense to me!
