FLOWER FUND - NEEDS YOUR HELP

To all my Fortuneteller family,

First of all, I want to thank John and Dena for their years of service in taking care of the flower fund, sending flowers and cards when necessary, and for taking their personal time.  Thanks to both of you.
 
Also I want to thank Sarah for vounteering to take over the flower fund so it could continue.

The fund is in NEED of your help.

The flower fund is, for the most part, for the benefit of our FT family and, in the case of Greg Balsley, for the benefit of our extended family.

Jimmy and Nina have allowed us the luxury of having this forum at no cost to us and permitted us to chat with each other on all sorts of subjects (within good reason and taste), to serve as a place for us to plan get togethers at the former FW festivals, Jimmy's concerts, and social get togethers at restaurants, etc., when attending these events. 

We've become a family and shared good times (and bad times) and were there for each other when it was truly needed.  The flower fund allowed us to express our feelings to each other when it was needed.

Needless to say, I can tell you how much the flower fund meant to Rose when you sent her flowers shortly after her cancer surgery in 2008.  I took a picture of her with the flowers and wanted to attach it here so you could see the smile on her face but apparently it's too big to attach.  Of course, I can never thank you enough for the flowers when Rose passed. 

I'm sending Sarah a donation so we can keep the fund going.  I hope you can do the same.  The economy is difficult right now but I hope you can donate whatever you can.

Thank you, Eddie, for that lovely message.  We ARE a large, extended family, and I for one hope we continue to show our care and concern to each other and the ones we love.

I want to second the thoughts..When my brother Bob passed away a couple years ago the flowers the fund sent meant a lot..Not to be silly, but it makes me sort of wish we all lived in our own little town so we could feel the hugs and hear the good wishes verbally, but absent of that, the Flower Fund is a great way to show the FT family we care..Thanks to all involved..

Quick update:  Several checks have come in but we DO need more to be prepared for the future. Please, please consider a donation of whatever amount you might be able to send.
