Been 8 years since I joined here..

The latest post/thread started by sta51(John) below  made me curious about when I joined this site..March 15, 2004..Over 8 years ago..Time does fly..And its been a fun ride.. :)

I joined in August of the same year Tim.Jimmy was at our County fair,with Country Gold, and when I got home that night I did a search and found the Fortune Tellers. I joined that same night and it's been one of the best moves I have made!  ;)

Class of 2003 reporting---May 27 :). I've met so many friends here and have had some wonderful experiences because of this board. Thank you, Jimmy, Nina, and all my friends here. :)

March 18, 2004 here!  The Statler retirement made me feel so bereft, and I remember searching the 'Net for anything I could find on what the Brothers were doing, and voila!

December 6th, 2002 was when I joined. It was a blessing to find the many new friends and find out what Jimmy was doing!

Wow, Carolyn!  You were right on it.  I just didn't use the Web then for much except research and teaching my classes.  Sure took me a long time to figure out I could use it for fun too.

I wonder who the first member (other than Jimmy, Nina, Clayton) was.

I just looked!  Carolyn, you were the first except for two folks who joined a couple days before that but never posted.

Did you know you can rearrange the member list by clicking on the title of each column, just like in e-mail or such?  By date, position, and number of posts.  Sandy's the winner on that one, followed by Billie.  Pam is third, and I am a distant fourth.

I had been reading the posts on the board for years before I joined. I finally joined on November 16, 2006. This was shortly after Grammy passed away and I received a message from Jimmy on MySpace.

I joined in late September (the 26th, I think) 2006.  Most all of you were at The Fortune/Williams Music Festival when I joined.  I had been "lurking" for a few days before that.
