We will be there and Brian also!!   Steve, Becky and Linzy said they would be there.  KK said they may also be there.  Can't wait!  We saw Jamie and Darrin in November and they mentioned this show.  Excited to see them and Jimmy again.  When John called for our tickets Jamie's dad answered and took our order.

Gosh, what can I say about last night other than it was an AWESOME show!  They sang all kinds of classic country songs.  Some of them I hadn't heard in ages.  They were having a blast and so was the audience.  I had never seen Dailey and Vincent before.  I will have to keep an eye out for them when they come near our area next time.

I think there was 22 states that were represented at the show last night.  Oh and I guess if you count John yelling "Confusion", that would be 23 states.  Gotta love John!

My friend Susan was able to come and this was her very first Jimmy concert and it won't be her last.  She loved it and getting to meet everybody.  She said she knows why Mom and I love Jimmy and Nina and all the FTs so much.  Everybody took her in and she became part of the family.  Jimmy gained one more fan for life last night. She's already trying to figure out when she can go to another Jimmy show.  Her birthday is in a few weeks and I got her a Jimmy CD and Jimmy signed it for her after the show.  Ask me if I was able to get it out of her hands after Jimmy signed it....uh nope!

Thanks guys for such a wonderful weekend.  Counting down the days to Scottsburg in May when we can do it all over again!

Julie, you got that right.  I think that was one of the best concerts I've attended.  Although every Jimmy concert is absolutely great and they are better every time; if that is possible.  I can't remember every song but some of them were:  Play me some mountain music, Memphis Tn, Elvira, Seven roads, I still miss someone. She thinks I still care, Almost heaven WV, Thank God I'm a country boy, Elizabeth, More than a name on a wall, Too much on my heart, Susan when she tried, Class of '57, Flowers on the wall, This ole house, On the other side of the cross, How great thou art.  There were more  but that's all I can remember now.  i sure hope they do another concert together.  The place holds 1100 and they said it was sold-out!!  We got great seats and got to see several of our Ft friends and Nelson Schwartz and Tim Spears and his wife, Gail.  Also Ninas mom, Judy.  We got there two hours before the show started so we had time to talk to everyone.  Jimmy was waving and blowing kisses to all of us.  After the concert several of us went to IHOP and Jamie Dailey was in there with some family and friends.  A super night!!
Sarah, I took pictures but I don't know how to post them.  KK and Linzy also took a lot .  Maybe they will post them.

Oh no, I wouldn’t compare it to The Statlers or anything else really.  It was their own unique style. It was simply, AWESOME!  They talked about wanting to do it again sometime.  I sure hope they do.  I’d so be back for another one! They had such a variety of songs.  There was something for everybody. The Eagles song “7 Bridges Road” was awesome! They even did a Chuck Berry song, “Memphis, TN”.  Dena pretty much covered the songs they did.  They started out with Alabama’s song “Mountain Music”.  I told Jimmy after the concert that I was hooked from the first song and Jimmy said, “We had you at Mountain Music”.  Yep, they sure did!!

That has to be one of the most fun concerts I have ever been too!!

Yes, they had their own style.  Jimmy and the Statlers were awesome, but then with Dailey and Vincent it was awesome, yet different.  I guess you had to be there.  I hope they do more of those!!  One of the songs I forgot was  The Great Pretender, and everyone knows what a super job Jimmy does on that!  and also Darrin's 15 year old daughter sang Billy Christian with them. She was great on that.
I was checking their website and found out that they are going to be here in our area May 19th.  We called the place and ordered tickets.  This will be the 3rd time we've seen them here.  They were here last March and again after Thanksgiving.  Now if we could just get Jimmy here!!

Great pictures, Julie!  Even though I got right up front, mine did not turn out very well, so thanks for sharing yours with everyone!  So happy I was able to be there for such a great concert, and such a fun night!  So much talent on that stage.....four incredibly powerful and beautiful voices!  Wow!   :) :) :) :)

Doug,

Thanks - I think Poppa was proud of Victoria.

Who is Christian Davis?  He has a great bass voice.
