patsy in ga:
The photos are beautiful, Bob. It's been a sad and difficult week for all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sweet family.
mingy:
Bob, I am so sorry we were away while you were in Maine. We would have loved to see you even under the circumstances that brought you here. I know you called while I was gone. Clyde played the answering machine for me so I could hear you. It was a busy crazy week for us. We are still recovering. Pam
Bob:
So sorry I didn't respond to this sooner Pam,that's no problem,we will be crossing paths down the road, somewhere between Here in STAUNTON,and MAINE, I hope. ;) :o ;D
Another reason for this post is to let you know my sister Carol is having surgery today and also having to have self injections in her stomach for a blood clotting problem,I hope you can keep her in your prayers as she is being tried again only physically.
She is the sister who had the hula hoops at the last Festival here in Staunton, she just loved hooping to Jimmys music,LIVE,as most know we where under extreme pressure knowing we only had a short time left with John(HOBO) that was her way of dealing with it that night,It was our farewell pary weekend for John, So sorry I missed so much time with you all,I know you where with the family in prayer.Spirit, and support at that time,John and all six of his siblings appreciated and where comforted by all your LOvE and understanding, hard to believe we are only two weeks away from the one year mark of the last festival,Thank you to so many for the wonderful memories over the nine years of festivals, and a special thank you to Jimmy ''for doing AMAZING GRACE for John and his family members present that night of the last festival, very emotionally touched by that small request you did for us, that was one of his favorite songs, and just wanted you to be able to sing it LIVE so he could have that sweet memory to go with him,the other two are SOFTLY & TENDERLY,and HOW GREAT THOU ART,what an inspiration he was in his last few months with us.
As you did for him in prayer I hope you can for Carol these next few weeks, she misses her hooping and hopes once her knee heals she can continue to keep her promise to her brother John,>> she is visiting ALL the veterans facilities in the good STATE OF MAINE, under a program known as" HOOPING TO HEAL",please pray she can get back to what she is missing due to her injury. My LOvE and best wishes to all.
P.S. sure do miss you in STAUNTON this month, pray something comes up where we can get together soon.
Eddie:
My prayers are going up for Carol. Yes, I'll miss everybody too in Staunton - as it would be just one more week for our usual party time - hopefully we can get together down the road somewhere.
williamsonmunier:
Here's hooping that Carol will be doing it again soon! It is so hard to consider what all of you have dealt with over the last year--and yet we have seen the grace with which you have endured. Praying for all.
Yes, we have to figure out some way to get together again soon. I miss my FT family.
