2012 Cruise

KK:
Great review, Doug!  You are so right!  It was a fantastic cruise, and it was such a pleasure to meet you and your wife, and your very sweet little girl, Grace.  Her little face just lit up whenever Jimmy was around...she is SO cute!  We enjoyed having lunch with you at Fish N Chips!  Not sure if you ever saw him do this, but Jimmy also played and sang with the band that was on the ship, Music Motion.  So that was like bonus Jimmy time, and some great songs and lots of fun.  Some of the songs he sang were Hotel California, Pretty Woman, somebody help me, there were some great others too.  See, this is why I don't do reviews...I am pitiful at them!  BUT I can say, it was AWESOME!!!  Jimmy singing and playing with Music Motion was a real treat for anyone on the ship as this band played on the ship every night except for one in different locations, so it wasn't just private for us.  The drummer in this band was a girl, and she was so cute and so good.  She really got in to it.  She was also the lead singer.  She was so fun to watch and she LOVED her some Jimmy!  Anytime she saw him, she wanted him to sing with them.  Her husband was also in the band.  So, if any of you are comtemplating a Jimmy Cruise, don't hesitate...sign up and go!  You will have a fabulous time.....Kathy :) :) :) :) :)

Dena and John:
Yes, it was a wonderful cruise.  We had a few rocky nights but nothing real bad.
Jimmy's concerts were super as usual.  I requested This Old Guitar and he also sang two other songs I was going to ask for..Forever (which he did for Kathy and Greg's anniversary) and Grandma's Feather Bed.  Doug, I love Come Back to Me.  We got Dailey and Vincent's new cd Jan. 10 and played it a lot before the cruise.
Yes, Kathy the cruise band was awesome.  I can't remember all the songs Jimmy sang with them either, but the last night in the casino one of them was Drift Away and one time they sang Under the Boardwalk.  One night my son (Brian) was talking to the girl drummer (Maria I think) and she asked him where Jimmy was.  She said he is so cute.  I would like to squeeze his cheeks.  I think that is the sentiment of all the women who meet him!
Seeing little Grace reminded me of 2008 when Emily was with us on the cruise.  She was and still is a big Jimmy fan.  She was almost 5 then.
Hope we get to go next time!!

Than you all who have written so far! I can't tell you what it means to those of us who cannot be there. I know the excitement of being on a Jimmy cruise after being on the one to Alaska, but this one sounds like it was "super-superb"!

Nina Fortune:
Every year something happens that makes me laugh until I cry. That happened numerous times this year. Being on a relaxing cruise releases all that tension.

KK:
Laughing is GOOD!!! :) :) :) :) :)
