Mom and Dad on the road again

Well, its that time of year again.  Mom and Dad left today to make that long journey home from Arizona.  They left this morning around 8:30am. 

Please keep them in your prayers for a safe journey.

Thanks Pam and Eddie.  Tonight they are in New Mexico.  Mom said that after today, they will still have about 1500 miles to travel.

Thanks Jan and Sarah.  They are in Oklahoma tonight.  They pulled in before 5pm tonight.  I am so happy that they are taking their time.  My dad will be 82 years old in August and he does all the driving.  So it makes for a long day for both of them, but especially dad.

Glad that they are taking their time.  I love to drive and we always look forward to our drive to FL.  Still it gets more tiring each year.  We take our time and stay off the interstates.  That helps us.

Well, mom and dad finally arrived this morning.  The had a long day yesterday.  They had to find a campground that they could dump their tanks so they drove for about 12 hours.  All the campgrounds in Michigan were closed until May 1st.  So they drove to a state park about 30 miles from home just so they could dump their tanks this morning. 

I think they are happy to be home. 

Thank you all for your prayers.  I know it helped them on their journey.
