Sheila:
Awesome pictures, Julie.  Thanks for sharing.   So glad that you had the chance to go to the concert and had a great time.  Hoping that Jimmy will sing some of these new songs, that I keep hearing about, at the Festival

Dena and John:
We had a wonderful weekend!  First, we met Donna, Dorothy and Barb in Beckley, WV and had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, after a very long wait for our food.  Then they followed us to Lexington, VA to our hotel.  Their room was right next door.  Julie met us about 2:30 and we all went over to the park in our van to put our chairs down.  We followed this truck pulling a trailer and it was Billy James!  No one else was there yet.  We put our chairs down in front and then Jimmy pulled in.  After hugs and hellos he was talking about what to call this concert. He said either Jimmy Fortune one on one or Jimmy Fortune in the raw!!  We about died laughting.  Then at the concert he repeated that.  He is so funny.  We left to get a sandwich and asked Jimmy and Billy if they wanted one.  Billy said no but Jimmy ordered one.  We came back about an hour later after changing and getting sandwiches and ate and then Jimmy joined us at our picnic table.  Oh, a funny thing,  he knocked over his drink and got it all over his shirt.  He said I was going to wear  this but I guess I'll change! It was great getting to spend time with him like that.
All the shows we saw were great!  At the Elvis impersonaters show, I had to walk up o the stage to get a scarf because John had answered a question he asked about an Elvis movie.  I was so embarrassed!  Later I had my picture taken with him and he autographed the scarf.  He looked a lot like Elvis and he was very nice.  His name was Michael Hoover.  At the end of the show he sang Amazing Grace with Jimmy.  They were awesome!!
Jimmy sang alot of requests from people in the audience. He sang Wildfire, Grandma's Featherbed, The Great Pretender and I can't remember all of them. Then of course he sang his old and new songs.  We got to hear the VT song,  Love the hate away, again.  And for the first time the other new one about being married for a long time.  I can't remember the name of it, but it was hilarious!  Jimmy looked like he was really having a great time.
It was great seeing the FT's.  Donna, Dorothy, Barb, Julie, Frances, Eugene, Frankie, Wanda and Skip and Cecilia.  Skip tried to steal my camera, but Julie caught him!!! HA HA  Also JJ and Autumn!  I hope I didn't leave out anyone.  We also got to see Rose and Nelson and Jimmy's sister Diana and her husband.  The evening ended way too soon!!
