;)  I'm surprised that Nebraska isn't showing any fans!  I know the Statlers were in that area two years in a row...the first year they were at the big fair at Omaha...it was a sellout!   They were at St. Joseph, Mo. and it was a pretty good sellout...though I don't know how the attendance turned out because there'd been a devastating snowstorm to the south and slightly west of St. Joseph, Mo.  but do know the tickets were all sold.  But I know the midwest is typically "country" in music preferences, but then they do have several of their "natives" as top artists that "sing" whatever the world calls country music these days!

OElizabeth4,

Welcome to the board,  Are you saying you are from Ohio instead of Virginia.  I ask because I am from Ohio.

Sue
I know you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard may not be what I meant.

To Sue--
I was born and raised in Norfolk, Va and then moved to Ohio where my husband  and I have been for the past 33 years.  We may soon be moving back to Norfolk though and we will have come the full circle!!

I've been to Germany, Holland, and Austria and well they are gorgeous too!  If you ever get a chance stop by any of those countries as well!  I'd love to see Ireland myself.  I'm a castle person and well, as you know Ireland has some beautiful ones!  (So does Germany!!!!!)

I'd like to go to Ireland too.  I want to visit Paris someday, but I don't know enough French to be able to get around!  :(  I love to see pictures of Ireland, though.  I like castles too, Elaine.  I've tried to imagine what living in one in the Middle Ages must have been like, and I just can't!  LOL!

Wow laciegirl89 that is interesting information.  Was she born there?  Or near there or was it just in dedication!??  I love hearing interesting facts like that.  Ashland, KY doesn't have anything interesting.......atleast not that I KNOW of!  I guess I need to look into it!
