I, too, am happily residing in the beautiful state of MISSOURI!

Missouri is also home of the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!   And Missouri MULES!

I'm a country boy-- I don't live anywhere near New York City.  I'm in Buffalo, home of the Chicken Wing, Tim Russert, Presidents Millard Fillmore and Grover Cleveland, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Niagara Falls, and where Teddy Roosevelt was inaugerated- almost ten hours from NYC.

Hey gang,
OK ...here goes...I was born in Bristol TN, which is on the border of TN & VA but was raised in Virginia.  Due to the job  I have I currently reside in Greensboro, NC---but will always consider myself a Virginian first & foremost.

Oh, Sue from Ohio, the Statlers first opened for Johnny Cash in Roanoke Virginia--That's where they got their first big break & why they chose to have their final concert there-----

Don't forget ARIZONA -- the Grand Canyon State.  Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks -- WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS 2001!  We just celebrated another statehood anniversary on Valentine's day.  Our state cacus is Saguaro and the state bird is the cactus wren.  Forgive me, but I can't remember our state flower.  The big cattle drives from Texas to Colorado brought the cowboys through some of the most beautiful parts of Arizona on the Coronado Trail.  We are also the home of Geronamo (sorry for spelling) from the Apache Indian tribe whom you can read about in the history books.  Ok, enough bragging for one day.

I've already posted where I'm from but I wanted to add that Slim Pickens from TV and movies went to High School here in my home town. Also Paul of Paul Revere and the Raiders lives 30 miles from me in Boise, Idaho. Also my home town's motto is Valley Of Plenty which means we are surrounded by fruit orchards and farm land down in this valley. We are also surrounded by mountains. Well we were surrounded by fruit trees. Some have been yanked out to make room for progress and house developments. It's really sad to. We still have peaches, apples, pears, plums, prunes, cherries, and apricot trees, plus there are strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, boisenberries, gooseberries and huckleberries. Hmmm lots of fruit when you see it typed on here. So I guess we still are the Valley Of Plenty so far.  Ok now I feel somewhat better. There is a lot of history here but to put in on paper would be hard to do. Patty Duke lives in Idaho, Jane and Peter Fonda, Marianne from Gilligans Island and many, many more. Wow now I'm impressed. LOL Dixie

Just 4 more to add to the Fortune Tellers from Ohio.  Well. John and I actually lived about 30 years in WV.  We were both born in Huntington. as well as our daughter, Pam. We have mostly lived in Ohio since 1980 except for a year or so in Florida. Pam is listed as PammyOH.  And then our best friend Theresa also a newer Fortune Teller.  She was born in OH.

You're telling me!!!  

Gia's original post was Blue too, but ouch and I mean major OUCH!!!  So we changed it to Red, and whoa!!!  That wasn't a whole lot better!!  Finally, we found the Pink and she has stayed with it ever since.

I think she'll forgive you this one time, tho. ;)  'Course you may have to bribe her with something April 5! :D
