I do apologize for leaving out our international cousins, "O, Canada". 8)

I just wanted to mark my wall map to keep everyone straight. ;D

PS Feel free to brag on your state, but we remind Virginia to please not to over-do-it with the "Statler, Jimmy" thing...GREEN is not a good color on me >:(

PSS Besides, I'd be very proud too ;D

PSSS I know,...do consider MISSOURIas an "honarary home state" of the Statler family! ;)

I know there's a lot more and I will tally them up after a few days (and onward?), but so far we have:

Florida (2)
Idaho (2)
Illinois
Missouri
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio
Ontario, Canada
Tennessee (2)
Virginia (3)

Keep 'em comin'! :) :)

PS I'll work it from this post, for now.

Hi   I am from the great state of TEXAS,    I like Texas just wish it were closer to Virginia.
one good thing about Texas,    Monday and Tuesday  of this week we had a ice storm,  on Sat. you could go out side in short sleeves,   old saying for Texas   if you don't like the weather just stick around a couple of hours and it will change.

Steven,
I think this is great:

I am from Ohio, the home of John Glenn, and our Ohio State (14-0) buckeye's football team.

200 Hundred years ago on March 1, 1803 Ohio became the 17th state to enter the union.  This is our Bicentennial year and barns across Ohio are being painted in celebration.

Canton Ohio is the home of the "Football Hall Of Fame"  Best of all Canton Ohio was the first place "The Statler Brothers" opened for Johnny Cash about 40 years ago.  Am I proud, Yes I am!

I know you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard may not be what I meant.

Karyn D:  It sounds like a good idea, but we don't want another "Florida & counting situation", do we?  :D  Ha!

Looks great folks!  Add as much factual data about your part of the world as you can!

Like I said, I'll share a tally from this particular post to get a more accurate count, then I'll research the other posts as time permits.  It'll be interesting! ;D

Another Virginian here.

Home of 8 US Presidents.
Including Woodrow Wilson, from Staunton, VA.
Hey, Staunton, is/was home to a lot of important people.
Four who still live here

Hey all,
I'm from Wisconsin. I don't really know what to say about it besides it smells like cows. Something good had to come out of here, just let me sleep off this cold or whatever and maybe I'll think of something cool.

The only difference between a dream, and a goal; is that you strive for one, but not the other.
