My sister was born on Christmas morning. The doctors told my mom that she was having false labor pains. While dad was waiting for her to be discharged, my sister was born. When dad called the family to let them know they would not make it for Christmas dinner, the family gathered the food and presents, jumped in the car and celebrated at the hospital.

Well that's a sweet story. My Oldest brother was born 1 hour before Christmas Day. He was really early (now this was 42 years ago) He weighed only a pound. Back then they told mom that he probably wouldn't make it! HA! Well, now he has two children of his own! I guess he made it. But he was so small he wore doll clothes for the first month and most of them were GIRLS!! He looked like a cute little girl!! LOL!! He hates the pictures of that first month! What a pretty little girl you have, um ah it's a boy!! But he's wearing a dress....... hahahhehe!!

I wasn't there I've only heard stories. I was born 15 years later!!!~ Mom had two seperate families! My sister is 2 years older than Dave (the brother born on Christmas Eve) and then Eli (my other brother) was born 13 years after Dave and then me following last 2 years later! So see 2 families! My sister Debbie actually gave birth to her first son 10 months after I was born. So I was an aunt but when they first told me I didn't care!! LOL! My sister Debbie has 5 children and 2 grandchildren, Dave has 2 children and 1 grandchild, Eli has 1 child and I have 2. I have a big family!! THEN my stepbrother Jerry has 2 children and 2 grandchildren, Stepsister Carolyn has 3 children, and my other stepsister has 1 son and 2 grandchildren. WOW, I DO have a big family......sorry I just started mumbling....it's the meds....

Wow Elaine,
What a cute story you have to tell about your brother. One pound huh? That is incredible. I am so happy for you (and him) that he made it and survived when the doctors said that he probably wouldn't. He just wanted to survive!! That's great!

He wanted to survive so he could irritate the tar out of me!!

;DLOL!! Nah, he is great! Actually if it wasn't for him my younger brother wouldn't be here today.....I would have killed him! He used to pretty much beat me up and (well you know how older brothers are times that by 20 and you have my brother! ELI) anyway I would just call up Dave and he'd tell Eli the next time he came down that he'd get a lickin' twice as many as he gave me.

if he done it 3 times I told Dave 5 and he got 10!!

My son was born a month early and weighed 5 lbs. 14 ozs. He stayed in intensive care for 13 days, it was really scarry, but by the time he went home I knew almost as much as the nurses did about caring for him. I was a nervous first time mother and by that time I was comfortable. Now he is 36 1/2 inches tall and weighs 30 lbs. and he is only 2. I am looking at buying stock in Food Lion.....

My b-day is on Flag day i know its not a BIG holiday but its a holiday lol. Also my friends dad i believe was born either on christmas or a few days before or something like that i cant quite remember

1 week and 3 days til my b-day!!!!! YAY!!! lol

In case Tara doesn't get back in here for a while, she does have a CD and she always has signed autographs after shows, so I'm sure she will continue to do so.

I get to see her (and Jimmy, of course) in less than two weeks! Hooray!!!!
