If any of you here ever attended the "Happy Birthday USA" concerts in Staunton, you probably remember a gentleman named Ray Houser.  He died this last week, and I'm posting a link to the article here.
He was always involved with the celebrations and always had great things to say about the Statlers.
I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with him several times. He was a very nice and genuine guy.
He will be greatly missed:

Hard to believe that this year will mark the 10th anniversary of you going solo.  Time sure does fly :)
You sure have accomplished a lot in the last 10 years and made so many new fans.

I'm in Greensboro, NC and we had a 12-15 second tremor.  Never experienced that before.  Very weird.
I heard they evacuated some buildings down town but just  precautionary. 
Very thankful  that everyone is ok  :)
