That's great that you thought to get your passport before the fee went up.  Can't believe it is going up by $35.00.  That seems like a lot.  But then, that's government for you.

I would check with your insurance company.  What you lost might be covered under your homeowners policy. 

I remember when I was a kid, we lost power for a week due to a major ice storm.  We had to go to a friends home to stay because it was in the winter and they had a fire place for heat.

Sarah, not only would I miss the air conditioner and internet, I would miss the tv.  Boy, what did people do back before all these were invented?

I don't know why they won't listen.  I believe Jimmy either sold out the venue or it was really close.  There was a lot of people there.  And not just from the Indiana/Ohio states.  I am sure he would draw as big a crowd next time.

Billie, there is no way that I could be ready tomorrow.  I still have clothes to buy.  I really don't have much to wear because nothing fits me anymore.   And I have to get a couple of things altered to fit.  I did talk to Lynette and there is 3 formal nights on this cruise.  So that is going to be fun figuring out what to bring.  

Pam, I went to Kohl's today and found somethings but I wasn't shopping for the cruise.  A lot of the stuff I found was sleeveless which would be o.k., but they were too dressy for the poolside, but not dressy enough for the diningroom (if that makes sense).  But I don't want to wait too long or I won't be able to find anything at all.  You can't wait until November or December because they don't have summer clothes out at that time.  

And I will be happy to be the official countdown person.  But right now I will try and only do it monthly.

O.K.  I must be the only insane person on this board because I would love to see a tornado up close.   Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be in the middle of one, but just close enough to hear the roar and see the tornado.  When we have tornado warnings here, I go outside to watch for the tornado.  However, we don't have warnings that much and lately, when they do issue tornado warnings, its usually because the radar indicates there MAY be a tornado, not anything being sited.
