Hi Everyone,
Sorry to take so long in posting. I've sort of been in another world!

As Sarah said, the surgery was a "go" on Friday (although the potassium was still a bit low). I came home on Sunday afternoon (although I really did not want to nor think it was a good idea. I DO have this Ludwig person to deal with and the wounded puppy-dog looks convinced me). From there it has just been day by day. Good and bad. The good came first, and as usual, my dumb self told me to walk faster and move more often, minus the pain meds.

After several painful days, I've learned that the meds are there for a reason and not to try to be a hero.
So as I continue on this little journey of recovery I want to thank everyone of you for your prayers and thoughts and also for the beautiful bud vase that was sent. Beautiful pink and yellow rose-buds brought a ray of sunshine into my room (yellow roses are my very favorite). I thank you and aprreciate you more than you will ever know.
Please keep us in your prayers as I have a way to go. The brace I MUST wear when out of bed is bundlesom and is a real bother, but, I know better than to move without it. I will NOT go through this again (hopefully)!
